SEARAN enabled Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto Company, to integrate Bluetooth connectivity into the Climate FieldView Drive^TM, – the industry’s first digital in-field sensor network and data management system. Climate’s new sensor network creates a true digital ag ecosystem to support the important agronomic decisions farmers make each season to protect and increase yield.¹

Climate FieldView Drive^TM was developed using SEARAN’s embedded Bluetooth software stack protocols and profiles, dotstsack^TM .  SEARAN helped Climate develop and test the Bluetooth connectivity between FieldView Drive^TM and host devices, iPADs and Android tablets, operating continuously over several weeks on dozens of systems collecting and streaming data simultaneously.

First deployed in 2016 the Climate FieldView Drive^TM platform is now operating on millions of acres and is installed on thousands of agricultural machines working 24/7 in harsh environment, in presence of two-way radios and WiFi interference, and continuously streaming data via Bluetooth 4.0 to iPADs and Android tablets.
